Malayala Bhashayude Vyakaranam
Malayala Bhashayude Vyakaranam or Malayazhmayude Vyakaranam, authored by Fr.George Mathan is an exceptional work as it is one of the first grammatical treatises in Malayalam language. In fact it was written prior to Gundertinte Vyakaranam(1851) which is considered the first grammar book in the Malayalam language. But because of some inexplicable reason, the publication of this book was delayed till 1863. A valuable book for philologists, not a single copy of this book was available when SPCS published the reprint. D C Bhashapadana Kendram possess a rare first print of this book.
Samkshepa Vedartham
Originally published in 1772, Samkshepa Vedartham is the first printed book in Malayalam. After printing it in Rome, the author of the book, Fr.Clement Pianius brought copies of it to Kerala in1774. D C Books published the reprint of this work in 1980.
