In today's world, books are fast getting replaced by computers, television, video games etc. Vayanakoottam is an effort by D C Kizhakemuri Foundation for our little friends to have a peep into a world, thousand times more imaginative and magical than any visual media.
Vayanakoottam is a book club exclusively for school going children. Vayanakoottam members of each school will get a selected number of books every year from D C publications. For that, all they have to do is form a group of book lovers of maximum 40 members and give a small amount of money to the D C Kizhakemuri Foundation every month through their teachers who are in-charge of the "Vayanakoottam Club" for the particular school. The books are to be circulated among the members and at the end of the circulation those books are distributed through lot.
